Dear little Jessie dog

My sisters beagle died yesterday, her heart failed and she was only 8. She was bitten by an adder 18 months ago and she had a very bad reaction and only just survived. She was bitten again in september last year, and didn't really have any untoward effects from that one but her heart has weakened since then. The vets don't think it was the snake bites that aggravated her heart. Dear Jess had a fabulous life, miles and miles of Cornish beaches and pretty lanes and farmland to play in while my sister tends her 32 year old pony, Cousto. RIP lovely Jessie. X

Your poor sister I'm so sorry to hear this. How unlucky for Jessie being bitten twice, and 8 is much too young to be saying goodbye to.
