Can tea tree not burn if used undilluted? It can be used in creams or carrier oils though I think????

Good luck with getting your pony to stop rubbing his tail x

i wouldn't use it undiluted. Needs to be added to a base oil/gel.

We've found benzyl benzoate to be highly effective. Apply with a toothbrush and rub in well!! mine seem to rub their tails if the flies are bad or they are bored

I'd like to add whenever I've used tree tee oil based shampoo it used to irritate my pony. I personally don't like it.

She must be scratching because she's irritated by flies or mossies, how about trying the new Naf Deet spray.

Hi

Can I ask how you know it's not sweetitch as those are the classic places they rub and it's because they are allergic to the midges bites.

Have you checked to make sure it's not lice, although I'm sure you would have noticed them and not sure they're such a problem these days like the used to be.

Oh I did read that cider vinegar is also a good fly repellent, you need to get the organic type. Ok according to my vinegar book you add 2floz or 50mls to the feed and it reckons you'll see a dramatic reduction in flies, so it might help your problem.

Absolute nightmare when you have this problem, try asking your vet too.
