when we bought mak he was in a metal mullen mouth pelham
we were told he was in this because it was the only bit he liked the feel of
mak is very responsive and has a lovely soft mouth and has fantastic brakes
the girl i have riding him for me felt the bit was un necessary for him, so last week we we put him in a flexi mullen mouth pelham but again my friend thought he didnt need this and would be just as happy in a snaffle
so today we put him in a flexi eggbutt
he didnt seem to go on the bit as much as he normally does although he did respond immediately to everything that was asked of him, could this be due to the fact he needs to get used to the feel of the bit first
heres a couple of vids i took of him, sorry that one is sideways, cant work out how to rotate it
whats your opinions, will he settle into this bit or should we put him back in the pelham
