Progress on my nerves

I don't know if anyone remembers my thread on nerves.. I was very reassured with all the replies from my fellow nervous nellies. I can't believe how much things have changed over the last few months. I no longer get butterflies, even when my horse ( she's not mine but I wish she was!) gets naughty and starts going her own way i have the confidence to take charge. Its because I know she is not going to buck or rear or tank off which I think has been my biggest fear (no actually that is my biggest fear!) She does spook so I have to concentrate but I can deal with that.

Now the question is??? Is it time to ask for a different horse at my next lesson? I love the one I am riding but I do see posts on the best way to progress is to rid lots of different ones. sometimes I watch my fellow pupils ride horses and feel relieved that its not me on 'that one' or should I carry on learning on the 'tried and tested' for as long as I can. I have yet to canter, but I have cantered more times than I can remember before I gave up a 7 years ago (children entered the equation!) I am just a little bit nervous of making the move. Also my RS horse is MEHUSIVE at 16'2. The ground is a long way down!!
