New Horsey Pics =)

It's been about a month and a half since I got my new (rather hubby's new
horse-

She hasn't been ridden in about a year so she needs some tuning up, but unlike my pony she isn't so CRAZY and doesn't bolt so even when she decides to ignore you it's in slow mo so not so terrifying.

she's 16 h. 3/4 Quarter horse 1/4 draft. 14 yrs old.

Her name is Brandy, but we're thinking of changing it...I've been calling her Harley because when she's ready to move you can tell because she lets out these deep rumbly snorts that sound like a harley revving up.

ignore my serious face and the saddle blanket crawling down my horses back. I've gotten much better at saddling such a big horse. much harder than my shorty lil pony boy.

thank you, she is a pretty girl. I was fully ready to settle for the worlds ugliest horse or donkey just to have a horse I could ride. and she is really chilled out too.

and my hubby is enjoying her even though he can't ride her with out some help. She's testing him like a horsey will. she tried wiping him off her back by walking through a low hanging apple tree the other day. Poor man. His glasses fell off and he got scraped up a bit. but, he still wants to try again. =)
