lesson this weekend... but I feel so stiff!

..arrrrgh! Finally managed to arrange a lesson, but double good news is that my good ole instructor said she would be there this weekend.

Now problem is that I must be so stiff after weeks of no riding! I'm afraid I'd just embarrass myself when I attempt to mount, even with a leg-up!

Any exercises I can do at home to lumber up a bit so I won't get so sore. (afraid the little warm-up before riding won't really do much) Suggestions?

Hiya, I also was looking for ways to strengthn my muscles to stop aches and be stronger in the saddle etc and found this:

There are lots of stretches and exercises - surely they will warm you up a bit and running I think would help. I'm gonna start trying running more...hmm......Anyway hope I helped

There is a yoga exercise called Salute to the Sun, which OH does every day, which is very good for streatching the whole body:
