Oh no!. I am currently borrowing one from a friend its an ordinary snaffle type one with a flat lozenge in the middle. Trouble is i dont know the name of it and was hoping to be able to take it into the shop and compare it to others!

Think Chobham Rider has them.
But I, too, went straight to the NS website. You can call them up and speak to them for advice- then you can describe what you need- they're v. helpful

Go to their web site, they do mail order. Phone Heather, who designs them, she is very friendly and will give you her opinion on which bit will suit your horse. I highly recomend them. She has solved every 'problem mouth' I have had to deal with in the last 5 years!

I got my NS hanging cheek snaffle from a bit bank (shop4bits.com). Turned up quickly and he goes very well in it. It is 1st dressage legal bit and we won the 1st test we entered in it.

Have a look on her website and search the shop, it will show pictures of the bits and you can compare.

If this doesn't help, give Heather a ring.

I also found the section on bitting advice really helpful.
