HQ has a visitor; a lovely FAERIE!!!

Yes folks, HQ and I were lucky today, beautiful sunshine and a visit from Faerie Rider
In true geek meet style, she was put straight to work, heh heh! I had the grooming tools all at the ready...and you can see how relaxed my horsie was after a session with the brushes

And look, how sweet was that? FR brought me some gorgeous flowers (here having a drink in HQ's water bucket), and she brought fab baby carrots and a Pink Lady apple for Harley. I knew I had to take a pic of those (or W'jit would want to know why )and I did- but a gremlin scrobbled it

FR is a talented lady and I'm sure she won't mind me mentioning her website which shows her artwork
We had a great time talking about Horses and Life and how the two intertwine! We also talked about the rotten treatment she's had from her yard- grrrrrrr!!!
Faerie Rider, thank-you for brightening our day, please come again to get your 'horsey fix', when your little'uns give you another minute love, LD and HQ xx

Am I blind or did you forget to post the link to FR's website?

What fabulous weather for a meet up and isn't HQ looking soooooo shiny?

Great stuff!

As luck would have it, FR is just up 't road, like.

Let's do a geekly meetly then. Get the fizz out, strawberries cooling, don't organise any work for us, and we'll be over!!

Aww...I'm blushing now...

Had a fab time today HQ is a sweetie..and sooo good when I was brushing her..especially as I had never groomed before..

Thank you LD for a wonderful welcome..it was the first time that I have been round a horse since my accident and I am glad to say not a wobble in sight!! Made such a difference being at a friendly smiley (very clean) stables...

I'm going to let you all in on a little secret now (I told LD this morn) saw a physio this week to help rehabilitate my back and get the movement back and she said that I will be able to ride again (hopefully) provided everything goes well.

I have now printed the piccie off of HQ and myself and it's going pride of place on the fridge!!! (I don't have any piccies of me with a horse) So I can show my boys in the morn...

Love to my darling HQ (am quite smitten) and to you of course LD thank you so much!!!
love to all
FR
xxx

Still blushing!

Looks like you had a lovely time, ladies. HQ is certainly living up to her queenly name. Flowers, carrots and apples, we'll be curtseying next.

Ah now, S's Mum, a neddie is a hoss but a hoss can be a pone, 'n all! Or a gee (gee)

HQ is a Harley short for Harlequin and aka Harleyqueen.

Does that help? you can say "no" , that's OK

Kat how lovely to see you, and walking, and you could be riding again too!!! Fantastic news. You look so happy around the lovely HQ, is she near to you?

Well done, the physio takes ages to kick in don't you think....
