Old jumping stills of me and Phantom

Okay so these are from a video of me doing Phantom's first proper jumping practice, this time last year, just thought even if no one wants to see them, they will cheer me up, as we seem to have gone backwards, he's not worked hardly at all this winter, but I watch the vid and think it will happen when he's fit again and we've worked on some issues.

I *really* tried to get the vid onto my computer but it's just not happening!
Sorry they aren't great quality, I don't have any still photos of me jumping P

Some jumpies..i'd like to think my jumping has improved a lot since then, I kept getting left behind as he hasn't worked out striding yet and neither had I!

More to come..

Jumped this one flat and had it down

Cute one

Horrible twisted giraffe pony! "I will not listen!"

Whoops! (no I didn't fall off )

Enjoy! He's not that slim these days (I wish he was!) Any thoughts on position? I am aware I suck in this video

Thanks I just keep imagining us actually getting to that place where we can go out to shows and have fun and jump XC, it will happen, I just need to be patient and keep working at it. At least I have Saphy to keep my spirits up!

Phantom was so good that day, strange place with a strange horse (my friend was jumping too) and didn't buck or nap once Just a few run outs and refusals, which were my fault.

My position is quite awful there, looking again, I seem to be collapsing in a heap

Oh I think I get it! Is his name Phantom because of the mask (like the musical?)

YES! Well done Karin, not many people get it! It was the lady who bought him as a foal at foot that named him that

Yea, i can relate, as thats the sort of thing i want to feel. I dont want the pure 'success' thing, like 'i want to win showjumping again' its more the feeling...i want to gallop for ages alone with no fear and jump courses with the adrenaline rushing again, go for exciting long rides and XC etc. Its something i never had with aramis hence my confidence is low now than it was back with my first pony.

M is very safe, ive no problem with him yet im still not confident. I dont trust him as well as id like to yet.
