Hello!
I am looking to buy a double horse trailer in the next few months - does anyone have some top tips on things to look out for in them and recommendations as to good ones?

Always check the floor - if it is rotten - do not buy it unless you are prepared to pay out the expense for re-newing the floor.
As well as having a good look with your eye test the floor by jumping up and down in it - might look a bit silly but it could save your horse's life if the floor is rotten!
Make sure your vehicle has enough power to pull the trailer you intend to apply, and don't forget about the overall weight of the trailer and horse/s verses the car!

Thanks for that advice Jackie. I am actually looking to get a new trailer so I need advice on what are useful options to have in it - is it really worth having a head divider, side windows, a solid divider as opposed to a rubber sheet, etc. If anyone has any practical advice from having actually used and towed one, that would be great.
