ooops...i just fell off. Again!

It was all going so well too, had a little walk out last week, first since breaking bk in feb, then a lesson at walk, where i re gained more confidence. Today went out for a quiet hack with Kate. As i felt confident and not at all stiff, decided to try a little trot......

Right leg turned to jelly and i could feel myself slipping, so i did what i thought in the circs was an elegant enforced dismount and landed on my bum in the long grass!

Feel very stiff now but no further damage, luckily, except (lots) to my pride. Couldn't for the life of me lead Baz back home cos he was taking advantage at every step and diving for the grass and i was feeling a bit wobbly by then. Had to be rescued by yo in her jeep, i was freezing and shivering, so she sat me down, gave me a cup of tea, after which i promptly threw up. What a nelly!!

Determined to try again tho, be back in the saddle tommorrow....

Oh NO! That wasnt meant to happen.... get the painkillers in quick, have you got any industrial strength left from the hospital?? Poor you, is that leg still playing up???

Lots of fussing over, cups of tea, hot baths and hot water bottles (if you can bear them in the heat all you southerners are getting)......

Take great care, and look after yourself - thinking about you xxx

Thanx everyone! Spent a wobbly day on Sat but have bounced back now (but not into the saddle).
Think i'll be keeping the riding to walk only for a while but now i really will have to psych myself up to get on again, brings me out into a cold sweat just thinking about it! Maybe one evening after a few glasses of wine....
