Depends on the circumstances really e.g. how much the livery costs per week, insurance costs. I know that some people make an approximate cost per week and then divide it by 7 and then times it by how many days the sharer is going to be sharing the horse.

I pay £25 per week for 3 days per week. That seems to be a pretty average amount to pay.

When I was looking for a sharer for my horse, three days a week, I was asking for a £25 contribution. It takes into account his shoes, livery fee, feed, hay, etc. All the basic costs.

Im hoping to loan/share my pony out as of Sept i will be charging £25 week and that will cover everything shoes, ins, feed, hay, rent etc. The rider can have as many days as they like and the option to compete my pony at SJ, if they are not expereinced enough i shall be competing on her myself once/twice monthly but apart from that she will be theres to ride as they please. Im also pretty flexible with chores if they cant make certain days to turn out/bring in etc
Been doing a little research and i think that sounds fair from the owner point of view so you should be receiving something similar as the 'loaner/sharer' perhaps you could pay 20wk for 3 days if facilities are good.
