A friend of mine recomends Avon tea tree shampoo to help repel bugs. (Don't know what made her try it either but she does the dog with Head & Shoulders).

i've heard good things about this as well. i think it's the "skin so soft" range, and particularly the woodland glade (or woodland something, anyway) flavour that is a great fly repellent.

Well you could always try slapping some of their aftershave on him for a really macho perfume....

I hear some of them are fit for any stud...

Doesn't really say much for the smell if it's repelling all the bugglies does it?

Still I'm willing to try anything if it helps sweet itch - we have an Avon lady at work I shall get some off her.

Woodland glade do you say? I'd hate to get the wrong thing and it start having the 'Lynx' effect or something. My pony already fancies himself as a bit of a ladeeez man!!
