XC Courses in Essex/Suffolk

Can anyone recommend a small cross country course in Essex/Suffolk. A friend and I want to take our kids to have a go at their first cross country so the jumps need to be no higher than 1'6".

Any suggestions?

Downe House near Chelmsford. Lovely course, they have a super section for juniors tucked off to the side as well as the main course. I can pm you the number if you'd like. there's also an excelent course at Stratford St Mary between Ipswich and Colchester, but don't know if they have smaller jumps there for juniors.

Have you tried Ickworth park? The xc there is fab. The heights of the fencs start from literally a log on the groun at abou 6inches. Then get higher. Really nice, inviting course.

Or Ely eventing centre - some nice little jumps there.
