Well.. heres how it all wenttt..
woke up late. darn, should have put alarm on!, great start to a very nice *cough* day. got show gear on, grudged unwillingly outside to get pone in and sort the lorry out, pone was already in and had rug off (thanks mom!!) groomed her etc etc loaded her up. Lorry didnt want to start... 5 minutes later after mum was effing and blinding and cursing lorry, we were off, honey shuffling about in lorry meant that we had to go slowly.. 1 hour later we were at the showground.
she warmed up very very nicely, done a x-pole in warm up ring, buck.. buck.. rear. and then neighing constantly round the warm up ring.. (first time shes been out on her own to a show!) she jumped nicely in the warm up, then was our turn into the ring... bronc was the first thing she did.. judge waited until she finished to ring the bell.. and we were off! cleared the whole course quicker than expected time limit, so no time faults !

jump off was excellent. she done all the turns, cleared every fence, but as we were 2nd in jump off.. i didnt really know how fast to go.. so i was 1st to begin with. then 2nd.. then 3rd then 4th.. then finally ended 5th. was really proud of her, as first time goin to that height (80cm) and we got £7. so honey has officially £7 on her card now

then had to wait one class until the discovery... put her on lorry, took saddle off and had something to eat and drink etc etc
tony (gate person & my instructor) was all humming and harring.. shouting, telling people to put their number down.. i put mine down 14th (there was 37 people in the class

)
got honey off lorry, warmed her up again w/t/c, walked the course, watched 5-6 people go and decided to get on and do a jump or two, she was really on her toes this time, more than before.. she loves jumping bigger, she jumps them alot better and puts more effort in and is more bouncy hehe
went in the ring.. bell went, and we were off.. 1/2/3/4/5/6 she jumped lovely and under control.. then after number 6 she shot off.. as it was going towards the entrance of the indoor arena, brought her back to trot and made her canter off the corner *got a rear at this point* and she trottled back into canter and jumped number 7 from a standstill, it was a massive jump, as it had a plank on the bottom cup, water tray underneath and then 3 poles behind.. dont know how we cleared that one! and cleared numbers 8/9/10/11
i came out with a scared reaction on my face
and in the j.o there was 20 in, so knew i didnt have a chance, the fences had rose to 1m and i hadnt jumped this high at a show before, she cleared numbers 1, 6(r), 7(r), 2, and the last was number 8(a double) i done a turn to that one that was quite tight, and she took off a stride away at the first part (which was a 1m style oxer) and took the back pole down, and with me holding onto the buckle of the reins, she cleared the second part which was a 1m/1.05 upright with a filler that had a rainbow on! she was honest enough to jump it without any contact!
love my pone
sorry, was a bit long!
unfortunately didnt get any pictures as we were rather rushed because we were 15/20 mins late and only had 10 minutes warming up to do in first class and forgot all about it in the 2nd class i competed in!
