*Photos* from West Wycombe...

We went to West Wycombe Sponsored Ride today so I have a few pics for you all. It was a very long day as Phi will not travel in half a trailer so my dad had to make 2 trips - 50mins each way
The ponies were very good, however Gabe jogged non-stop (well, interrupted by bunny-hopping, bucking and rearing) for....13 miles! He thought he was hunting, bless him.
The river was soooo deep this year, they were almost swimming! He's 16.3hh and it came up to my stirrups!
He was a right little **** to load on the way home; he had to wait for nearly 2 hours while Phi went home (as she had arrived first) so he got really wound up and when we tried to load him I got several full on rears with him striking out at me - very scary! Eventually he just walked on perfectly like he'd been doing it for years. Grrrr.
Anyway, the reason you opened this...PHOTOS!

Hope you like!

It's a good job you and Stumpy didn't do that this year CF - you'd have been swimming!!

Fab photos StormyJ - is that the course with the aeroplane jump?

The other one is my mum on Phi, who was (and legally, still is!) mine until recently - she has jumping problems with me so my mum has taken her over. She went very well today with only one stop
I was surprised not to see you there ChickFlick, although I did see Stumpy's twin and had to double check!
Bexj - No, that's RAF Halton - much bigger and scarier!
Stumpy would have been swimming - my dad saw a girl hop off her 12hh pony straight onto her mum's horse's quarters, lead it swimming across the river and hop back on!

The aeroplane jump course is RAF Halton Bexj, and thats next weekend

I'm at uni Storm! Got exams next week so couldn't come back. Everyone on our yard had a fab time though, they all had a start time of 11.15ish (I think!) so no doubt you saw them all!

We went at 11.20 so we probably did see them!
I thought you were t Uni but you mentioned that you might come down, although I suppose it did get postponed! We'll hopefully do Halton next year, I'm determined to do the plane!

Cool pics, I'm getting my mum to take riding lessons over the summer so we can do a bit of that. Looks like great fun, although the girl walking alongside you two on the ground in the first picture looks frozen.
