Jods/Breeches a slimming version. Please!!!

I would pay a fortune if I could find a pair that dont make my thighs look massive. A tall order as they are quite big
Maybe ribbed ones or the ones with a darker colour seat?
Any ideas?

I used to find that the good old cord ones in a dark colour worked well, now however, my thighs are just too big to disguise

I have a problem with huge thighs and a big bum too! I used to wear cord jods, thinking they were the slimmingest! I have just changed to wearing these

Mark Todd Gisborne breeches. Thy are SO flattering and comfortable, I can't tell you what a joy it is to wear them. I have them in black but I tried on the cream too (as I might be doing some dressage tests shortly). I was pleasantly surprised that they flattered even in the lighter colour. I think the four-way stretch kind of keeps everything in and smooth but they are quite thin fabric and cool for the summer.

(My OH actually said 'Pwoar!' when he saw me in the black ones! Never done that when I've had jods on before! )

I made the mistake of buying some jods in one solid colour. Won't be making that mistake again and it's 2 tone all the way for me.

I have a big problem with bum and legs being completely out of proportion with the rest of me. waist and upper is size 16 and bum and thighs a 20

I've come to conclusion that even if you have a supermodel figure that jods will make you look huge!

However, darker ones will slim your thighs down, two tone as well and for showing perhaps pale with a sticky seat which is a tad darker that might give the "two tone" effect.

Or like me, I now ride constantly in jeans (not tight fitting though, makes your eyes water)

i'm on the larger side of life and i'd say that my beige jods make me look slimmer than i am, but thats when its hot and u can just wear a polo shirt, beige and hoodies don't go well for me

Definitely stick with dark colours, black or navy blue, and I find the better quality thick cotton ones tend to hold the flab in better than the cheaper thinner versions .

I always make sure I wear a long t-shirt/top to cover up my thunder thighs, I would never wear my joddies with a short top

Fuller Fillies do some nice cord jods in darker colours and in larger sizes. Reasonably flattering I would say!
