Newbies on the yard.

We've had a new girl and her mum (I think!) join our yard about a week ago. They've just bought the most gorgeous dutch warmblood from a riding school as, I assume, their first horse.
Our yard is a really friendly and helpful yard (we're lucky!) no-one sticks their ore in your business but will offer little tips if they know you're open to them.
Anyway! The new people have hardly been down the yard, the horse is stabled 24/7, again today she had hardly any bedding and no hay but about 5 big buckets of water (one is a dustbin(!)which makes me think they're not going to bother coming down. Been like this since they've had her. We've all noticed it and bought it up with eachother.
Is it rude to mention it to the new woman, none of us want to though as she pretty much ignores you when you say hello! Or perhaps just let our YO know?

Sorry for the long post, but what would you guys do?

try to tell the YO and if that doesn't work then you can try to get all the people who have noticed this to bring it up to her one by one and maybe the repitition will get the point across

Mmm, could do. Might just let the YO know. Poor girl though. She's so quiet too. A big gentle giant.

Yeah, which is why we're all trying to get someone else to say something! Our yard is so friendly, nobody wants to cause any issues. There's certain people up there near enough all day, and with the amount of people up at different times and nobody has seen them much at all. Maybe they're just shy, but I've made an effort to talk on a few occasions and been pretty much ignored. When we check the mare her stable/hay (or lack there of) buckets, etc etc are still the same.

If it's their first horse and they're not overly sure what she needs etc surely they'd be asking questions.
Like I said, nobody wants to stick their nose in, but it's difficult to see her stabled 24/7 with no hay and very little bedding.
