I hope you don't mind me being self indulgant, but my yearling Highland filly, won her class yesterday at Malvern, and here we are in the championship. Equinemad, from this board kindly came with me to help, and I think she'll agree that we had a fab time together. Equinemad got in touch with me, through the ''mentoring'' idea from this board, so thanks so much, whoevers idea it was.

I'l show her again as a yearling, and then depending on what she looks like as a two year old (her sisters, were mighty ugly at two!!!), I'll bring her out a few times next year, and then more as a three year old.

You may remember we chatted a few months ago when I almost bought a Dartmoor, but I lost out at the last minute. I'm pleased to say things worked out for the best - I now have an Exmoor gelding who has turned out to be much better for me. We're hoping to do out first show together next weekend.
