How did I miss this Bay thread!
My lovely bay Spyder - his coat changes so much with the seasons and in different lights
Two tone where he was losing his dark winter coat!
Bright bay in the summer
Almost mahogany
Winter coat (and him being naughty!)

I always thought bay was a pretty boring colour and as a child I longed for a horse who was an interesting colour - a roan or palomino or steel grey or buckskin....until I met Salsa!
Winter coat
Summer coat
And then along came River!

I love bays - they always seem to shine. Tia is a lovely dark bay with dapples - when she's polished up you can almost see your reflection in her!
