Mark Todd Rugs

Can anyone tell me how these fit, i have a horse with extremely narrow shoulders, i normally get her amigos as they fit her well but i cant find a heavyweight for a decent price. Mark Todd rugs are on sale at my local saddlery so i may go over and have a look if they are a good fit? Anyone got one? Or have any other recommendations, not looking to spend masses around £60/70ish

never bought one , my tack shop will let you return any rug if it does not fit as long as you have kept receipt - it may just be an idea to ask if you can try it on and return if no good. not much help i know

i used to have a mark todd stable rug for my TB and it fitted him really well and he had very narrow shoulders. It came up about the same size as most of his other rugs.

Pablo is narrow and I have 2 MT rugs one is a lightweight stable the green one and it fits him like a glove and i also have the middleweight under rug with the hood (stable) and this one hung down really low on his chest a really bad fit, anyway i added another front buckle and it fits him lovely!

Hope that helps

Got quite a few mark todds – from 150g thru to 360g turn out rugs. I find the fit great on voltan but Odin also has them and hes got a large chest and they good on him also. Big thumbs up from me.

I have a stable one with a neck. Nice rug but doesn't fit Frankie across the front as well as his Weatherbeeta and the neck was a little tight so I just kept it folded back.
Mine is broad across the chest with big shoulders so I imagine they would be good for a narrower horse.

i find them a bit of a neat fit length wise.

kaiser weatherbeeta's that are a 6ft 6 fit him better than the mark todd 6ft 6, they seem longer, but that might be because they weatherbeeta's have more room for chest/shoulder.
