barnes buckle and stirrups...

In hope - I'd very much like some Icelandic stirrups (they're offset so easier to find when I loose my stirrups, happens a lot ) BUT they need to fit a Barnes Buckle!

Can anyone tell me if these will fit a BB?

Really surprised that many dont fit, to my mind the safety features of the BB plus the comfort and security of offset stirrups are an ideal combination for a safety-conscious (ie paranoid) perma-novice like me !
