Long Distance Riding
Has anyone got any tips for successful long distance rides, as I hope to plan some for the summer, about 10/12 miles long. My horse is fit and we will mainly be walking.
Baring in mind this is summer, what would be the best time to go?

I would appreciate any tips or suggestions that may help me.
