If you look at that thread you can see my music I used and test, I got a company freestyle dressage to do my music and wasn t that expensive but I think thos people whom are whizz's on computers do the music themselves.

Its really important to get music that suits your horses paces along with tunes that complement the movements of the test.

Also you have to regsiter with BD to use music......check out their webiste it explains what is needed and why.

But overall I have always loved freestyle and looking forward to doing somemore in the year

I've had a few DTM lessns with Claire Lilley and they are great fun. Its amazing how you can "feel" the music with the rhythm of your horse, and how some music influences your rhythm too. She has devised some music and you can get her CD's on www.clairelilley.com Obvisouly each horse will have their own natural rhythm at each pace so you have to practice at what music fits you. I love the macarana - that is really good walk music.

Have fun !!

I did a freestyle test for the PC and loved it, it really helped me to relax and now whenever I ride at that venue I am so calm!
My PC dressage manager sort of started me off with the choreography, and we used a cd from RasMusic, you can buy them for £18 and they have five different tests on them - you just make up the floor plan for it
I keep meaning to do it on Gabe - I was doing it on a borrowed horse before - but just never seem to get round to it!

I specialise in it - been doing affiliated music classes for around 10 years now.

I do my own music and choreography - always have.

Peri (my old lady) has been to music nationals at all levels from elementary to PSG when you qualified direct to the nationals. As it has become more popular there are now music regional champs. She was 3rd in both the advanced medium and the PSG before she retired.

Tavia has done music regionals at elementary, medium and advanced medium. She was placed in the latter 2 in 2007, last year was a bit of a disaster as she had a reaction to her flu jab 10 days before the champs. She's qualified again medium and advanced medium this year and I also have my friend's Fell Pony through at elementary and medium. He narrowly missed the top 10 last year in a huge class at Myerscough.
We are going to Rowallan this year as the dates for Myerscough didn't fit in with my annual leave.
