i love my car. its a fiat bravo hgt. its a 2.0L 20V 5 cylinder and bright yellow. its been re-mapped and is FUN, FUN, FUN!!! with a capital QUICK!!!! and believe it or not with the back seats down i can get all 4 of my mastiffs in (just) and it can also carry 8 bales of shavings. although its been lowered so is absolutely useless on bumpy lanes (but the standard height ones are fine).

MY TOY!!! BILLY BRAVO.

I have a Discovery TD5, automatic, diesel.

Best car IMO for towing as it can handle the weight etc of the trailer plus horse, and the automatic is better for the gear changes.

Plus its a mobile tack room, and dog transporter

I have the sturdy Renault Kangoo. The sliding back doors make loading it with people, dogs or tack much easier, and I have van type doors instead of hatchback. There's plenty of headroom too for those potholed lanes. I keep it ready loaded up with all my stable gear.

I have a 1.8 auto astra estate, it is full of junk inc BP and 2 riding hats most of the time. The sports switch is fun for annoying Boy racers

Corsa!

I've had it since I started learning to drive (bought it as a baby) and so it has been with me through it all - i keep meaning to update it and then finding an excuse not to. Sad eh

I have had everything from dogs, straw bales, haylage, feed, saddles, jump poles.. etc in it!

My little Corsa has even been off roading. No mean feat for a 1 litre

Subaru Forester (anyone ever noticed Surabaru backwards is U R a BUS ? - or is that just me ? )

Fab car, goes anywhere and I'm not one of these precious people who wont drive through fords or down a lane in case it gets scratched. Loads of room in the boot and I love all the spare compartments. Although most of these atm are used to hide choccie bar wrappers

I absolutely love it, decent size boot, but no way would I tow a box with it though, I'm sure that would kill the engine ! We use the Disco for that.

i have a suzuki jiminy - on the positive it goes anywhere & has optional 4wheel drive & keeps you above the little cars - negatives - doesnt really have a boot so you have to fold back seats down - effectively making it a 2 seater - mine is so dirty that friends have on occasions preferred to take the bus rather than have a lift

I have a VW 2.0 litre Beetle in blue with black interior, when we go to the yard it gets filthy and one mucky riding boot on the mats makes a terrible mess, in my job I sometimes have to take people in my car and got in trouble the other day for the mud! Cleaned it all out yesterday, not sensible for yards in muddy conditions at all. For towing we have a Landrover Discovery TD5 diesel, manual. My OH uses it mainly and I only use it when taking my daugher's pony anywhere as I prefer driving things I can park!

I thought mine would be the smallest til I read someone has a Smartcar!

I drive a blue (when its clean) Ford Ka. Her name is Baza or The Bizarre Bug (end of number plate is BZA). She is a complete tardis, everyone goes 'ooh I don't wana go in your tiny car!' then is amazed how much space they have, my 6ft3 boss has had lifts in it and the seat wasn't even all the way back. The boot is a bit crap tho as the rear lights are a funny shape, and it has a higher bit you have to heave stuff over first, a bale of shavings wont fit in the boot! But when I put the back seats down I have fitted in three big holdals, a stack and store box of food, riding gear including boots and hat, laptop, ps2, four pairs of assorted shoes and trainers, a frying pan, 4 2l bottles of water (it had a random thristy period) and a guitar. Me and my OH know how to holiday

It thinks it is actually a Disco as it is fab off road, we take it to all the country shows as it goes so happily across muddy fields, happy taken down the huge potholey track to the yard, and is so much fun on windy country lanes - it jst hugs the road and the acceleration out of corners is great. What you get when you put the engine of a mk3 fiesta in something that weighs a helluva lot less is incredibly fuel efficient and will do 95mph on the motorway quite happily (but when you get to 100mph everything does rattle rather worryingly, so don't do that too much!) and road tax is cheap too. I could seriously drive forever in this car, I love it so much, and being a Ford parts are cheap as chips.

Only downside is no cup holders, so I bought one from Tesco that attaches to the window as I needed somewhere for me hot choccy.

I nearly cried when I saw what they have done with the new model tho, it looks like a Corsa gone wrong, can't believe they would destroy such a great car

I have a scrummy Chrysler PT Cruiser which has a good sized boot although I do seem to manage 'tack overspill' into the back seat when I'm being lazy and wellies regualarly creep into the front foot well most days. It hasn't looked very clean for a while either, I think its a blue one though - my car definitely stands out in the car park at work - its the only one with feed buckets on the parcel shelf not safe I know!!!...and as much mud on the inside as the outside. Would love a 4 wheel drive but not enough coins in the piggy bank for one of those yet

I hide in Discovery corner when I borrow my parents V plate petrol/LPG auto, just me another horsey type and 2 off-roaders (tame ones). We have a very mixed car park at the Student Loans CO as we also have an equine physiotherapist in our office (must find out who she is )

Great for everything!!!

Although the boot isn't very big, but I fold down the backseats, so that I have more room!
I have one of these also and it is excellent and not too bad on fuel either. I love it. Can't raz it around corners tho like I used to with my Ford Escot lol

(We still regularly burst tyres on the Saab, just not really the sort of car you need when you live up an unsurfaced track in the countryside).
Hehehehehehehe

So Did I, took the OH Saab one night to go teaching and had to phone him on the way back about 10pm to say he had to come ang get me as i had a flat tyre as I didnt see the pot hole in the road. It wasnt until he came out that he told me I had actually burst TWO tyres

I have a Mitsubishi SHogun, great for pulling the trailer and loading up with feeding, shavings hay etc,but totally impractical for the office as the fuel consumption is gready. So I am using my mums car while she is away on holiday (mercades)

I have a yellow mini called Winifred. The poor girl takes me up the mountain every day no matter what the weather. Not the most practical car for someone with 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 horses but she doesnt complain

This is my fun car ( my other addiction along with the horses ) but it is not practical at all and tends to live in the garage whilst the roads are covered in salt, mud and other rubbish

So I have a VW Tiguan 4x4 which is great for the country lanes mud and pot holes lol Would highly recommend it, I have the 2.0l TDI and it does about 42mpg which I was quite impressed with for a 4x4. As I'm horseless as the mo, I couldn't tell you how many bales of hay or shavings you could fit in it but the boot is pretty spacious
