Anyone tow with one? What are they like? What are they like generally when not towing?

And all the other usual questions?!!

Supposedly a good towing car. Good kerb weight also but it depends what model as to the towing weight.

Top gear and other car testers gave it a bad rating as a car but you see quite a few people towing with one. I considered one when OH and I were looking for a towing car but the MPG put me off as they seem quite expensive to run next to other cars.

Hi I have a Kia Sorento and love it! It is a 2005 model with 2800kg max towing weight though the newer ones can tow 3000kg (manual) or 3500kg (auto). I chose a manual as they are less thirsty on the fuel and the emissions are lower. I looked into all the cars that could tow 2 horses and this was one of the cheapest to buy and run. It tows well even with two big horses on board. When not towing it is very comfortable, good on the motorway but obviously not quite as nippy as a smaller car - I get quite a shock when I get in my OH's hatchback and put the accelerator down

a fab tow car! everyone i've asked about them raves about them. they are top of my list for purchasing in august and i've a feeling they come under the lower emissions bracket so aren't subject to the maximum car tax banding like discos etc.
