2nd Lesson Today......

Hi girls. I have just got back from my 2nd lesson & boy did she make me work.
I still just did walk, trot changing reighn & diaganols.
She was trying to get & keep me in the right positions.
I am going to ache later.
I have booked to join a group of other mature ladies next week as i do feel a bit more confident after todays lesson......I was so nervous when i was on my way there.

Well done !! Being part of a group of mature riders can be fun. I used to ride weekly with a group of 30 - 50yr old women before i had to take a break from riding, and omg, every week it never failed by the humor hit the gutter, we'd have the RI is stitches by the end of the lessons, but the main thing was that being all of the same age group and pretty mixed abilities, we felt very comfortable with eachother and supported eachother & encouraged eachother to try new things.

Well done Sam - so glad your second lesson went well. I had mine yesterday and I too was really nervous on the way there. However, it went well apart from the usual dismounting issue and I was doing pretty much same as you -trotting and walking, diagonals and also walking over poles.

Great you are joining other ladies - let us know how that goes.

You aching today? I am aching but definitely not as much as last week!

At the moment i feel ok.......I am sure that will change later.

The horse i road this week (cassie) was slightly smaller & not as broard, she also seemed more forward going.

My legs just did not want to go as far back as she was pushing them.

I am really enjoying myself.

Sounds like great fun! When I lived in Scotland I joined a lovely group of ladies in their class and we used to have a fab time.
