taking my yearling to his first show sat...help needed!

Hi everyone! Well after 2 weeks on the trot of 2 shows being cancelled due to the weather I am finally hoping to take my boy to his first show on Sat
Now there aren't many classes he can enter, just 2. I think this will be plenty for his first show as he is VERY excitable ( I hope he behaves!) I am putting him in the best foal/yearling class. There is a coloured class but I have been advised against putting him in this as fully grown horses tend to be placed over yearlings. Now I am not really bothered as it is all experince for him. But is this true??
Here are some pics of him, he is 15 months old PBA.
Comments or advice welcome
(please note his "plaites" arent done prop, just did it quick to see what he wud look like)

My 15 month colt has only done one show as he is a cob and there aren't many shows if your not a certain breed around here lol. I was told that judges prefer coloured horses. He was the only non coloured horse and came 2nd. We got through to the championship with all of the winners from the show and even next to the big £30000 horses we still had comments. I think it just depends on what the judge likes.
The only other show I can take him in is cobs mixed any age, sex, height. Ill have the problem of bigger, older horses again, but it's all experience for them.

Good luck! Let us know how you get on x

By the way he is gorgeous! If he wants to come on his hols to mine, I wouldn't mind lol x
