Smile Quantum Savvy

Hey guys,
I've been looking into doing some NH with my pony Norman. I while ago someone posted a thread about Quantum Savvy so I did some researching. I really want to give it a go.
But I was wandering.....
Are there any UK suppliers of the halters, ropes and lesson packs?
Do you have to be a member to send assignments off?
What do people think of QS?
I beleive its like parelli but it seems to be less expensive as you can just but 1 lesson pack for £40 or so pounds and see if you like it rather than paying loads for all the parelli equipment and packs. (Tell me if I'm wrong)

I was fortunate enough to have this guy out for some training and to see some of his gear and it's excellent. His long ropes are much nicer than Parelli and don't have the big hooks on them - he recommends tying.

Anyway, he's excellent;

and cheaper!

I do Quantum Savvy with Arnie. Its amazing - here's my thread from our 2 day course this summer with Shane. I am normally a "traditional" type of rider but Arnie proved to be a challenge and has made me rethink all my previous ideas about horsemanship. Luckily for me, I met someone who does QS and she helped me out and got me into it. It has completely changed my outlook with Arnie - we are now a happy partnership

I had the most amazing weekend ever. Shane is incredible in action. He is very quiet and unassuming and within seconds has the horses falling all over themselves to do exactly what he wants!

If you go to the QS website and register, he will send you some information to get you started. Its free! He sends out about half of each of the first 4 lessons. More than enough to let you get going and make sure its for you before you sign up.

You do have to be a paid up member before you can submit assignments though. If you become a member (its about £11 per month or you can pay annually), you get access to the equipment and videos etc at a special members price.

You can get all the equipment you need off ebay - there are some good deals to be had - shop around.

Hope you have fun!

Thanks! I sent off my free membership thing a while ago and then it came in the post a few days ago all the way from austrailia! I got a magazine a brochure about the courses and a leaflet. Is that what you mean about half of the 4 lessons?
Its a shame there isn't any practice groups over here in south wales. I wish they did the courses in the brochure in the U.K that would be amazing!

They do do courses in the UK. Shane and Meredith were over here for a while this summer - all over the country.

When I joined I got an email with copies of the lesson booklets to print out and links to videos and stuff like that. Perhaps that was a limited time offer? I've just checked the website and it doesnt appear to be showing just now

I got 4 lessons free on email from them. about 6-8 sections in each one so quite a lot really. I have done parelli for a number of years, so it was all repeat stuff for us, although quite a few places there were slight differences. Will have to wait to buy more levels till I can get to where I was before.

Even without being a paid up member, you can still see the videos of the lessons, on FAQ in forum. Just log in first.
