Talking Anyone else going to parelli celebration?

I keep forgetting all about it but its only a couple of weeks away. Just chatting to another NRer who is going - anyone else?

Im going on my own, staying at the Hilton and going to the dinner/dance on Saturday. I have one friend going too but am not sitting with them during the day.

Now I have thought about it I am starting to get quite excited - its not long now

Some of my horsey friends are going, but I'm not going this year. I've been to see them everytime they've been in the UK over the past 7-8 years! Loved last year at the NEC

Hope you have a great time!!!

Pat and Linda from whats been announced will be here in 2010 but as far as I know they are going to be doing something at Stoneleigh rather than a conference at the NEC and then come 2011 there will be a conference again.

I am a volunteer at the conference this year and hoping to be on the Savvy Club Stand so if you remember do come and say hello to me.

I'll likely to be wearing my Western Hat...

Theres been such a lot of emails recently i cant keep track! They are stressing if you have the old stuff you'll be fine - I think its just a re-do to make it easily accessible and finely tuned rather than a little rambling like the old stuff could be I would really like to have them, but am going to leave my credit card at home - spent too much on fencing I think the new stuff is more to attract new clients rather than give more info to the existing - that was the message I was extrapolating anyway (thats my long word for the week!!! )

Excitingly I have just got email from the Hilton hotel confirming my booking, giving me hotel details, weather forecast, the lot! I am very excited as only ever stayed in a hotel less than half a dozen times in my life (despite being brought up in one til I was about 7 - thought everybodies parents started cooking breakfast at 6 a.m. and then stayed up to 2 a.m. in the bar )

As i already have owned the sucess series, the harmony pack, the patterns etc i'm not thinking of adding to it.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Behaviour, but the email i got gave me the impression it was to do with the levels, which the new assessments out are making it more appealing to new people.
I don't think my assesment was easier than the old way as i felt i crammed it into 9mins. Unless it felt like it as i we had to redo it a few times.
That's the one i've not heard back from.

My friend is going to the celebration, she may take the thin plastic, me i've just bought new saddle

I wish I was going. Have been saying for the past 3 years that I must go (would love to see Pat and Linda 'in the flesh' rather than just on the Savvy Club DVDs), but my health keeps letting me down. I nearly booked a ticket a few weeks ago, but can't cope with driving up there (we are in Pembrokeshire) and the train times didn't allow me to get there early enough on the Sunday morning (I would be staying with my mum in Banbury to save on hotel costs).

Oh well, perhaps I will see them at Stoneleigh next year?

Have a fab time.

Ali xx

Im doing the whole big kid at xmas thing and starting to get really excited

I packed my bag this morning (yeah yeah I know Im not going for another 2 days yet but I like to be prepared) Bag packing always feels like the start of a holday and this is as much a break as anything. I made the mistake of telling the scheme manager (kind of my boss except Im self employed) that everything was going really well. It took about 3 hours for **** to hit fan and its been dead quiet for MONTHS!!!

I am almost (only almost) as excited about staying at the Hilton as I am about the celebration Got my cossie (lush looking pool and it'll keep me busy friday tea time) got the book i've been meaning to read for weeks plus new PJs and everything!!!!!! I even got around to actually watching the two latest savvy club DVDs that have been patiently waiting on my bedside table
