Dressage entry form in...

For 27th May.

Eep.

Been having lessons so thought would put them to use.

Doing preliminary 1 and preliminary 12. Not looked at them yet.

Galaxy just had a week off as I was away so back into training now to prepare...must practice on grass beforehand.

Also might splash out on new show shirt. What is the correct attire?

good luck and enjoy! it will be fab

what do you have jacket etc wise already?

I would normally say white/beige jods, long boots (pref black) white/cream shirt & stock, blue/black jacket and hat, light coloured gloves.

Can also wear tweed

Thanks.

It's just down the road so hacking down. Hopefully galaxy will be slightly less spritely from spring grass by then.

Hoping doing a bit out and about will ease my nerves for retaking my Stage 2 riding exam some time later this year too.

Why is riding in front of people so nerve racking?!

I'm doing those same dressage tests too - only next week

Good luck x

Dress wise I wear tweed jacket (but you could use navy if you have that) white shirt (or you could use any pale colour), cream stock (but you could use any colour stock or tie), jodhpur boots and leather gaiters (but long boots is probably more correct), hat and white gloves (can use any light coloured gloves) oh and beige jodhpurs. will probably take in a schooling whip and a panic stricken face lol.

Horse - basic tack with dressage legal bit, saddlecloth or numnah (we use white saddlecloth), remember no boots.
