Help! My POny Won't Canter!

Well... she will canter but not as soon as i ask she'll run into it, but as hard as i try i cannot get her 2 do it as soon as i ask.
We have a show on sunday and ushally when we get to shows she does it straight away but we havent been in a show 4 6 months , and i dont want to make a fool of myself...
does anyone have anything i can do to make her?

sounds like mine only that we don't go to any shows!

i spent ages working on walk and trot in the school with mine which seems to have helped loads! i also went and took a couple of lessons to get pointers where i was going wrong when i asked for canter (am not a good rider!) and that really helped us loads!! trying it on your own and knowing you make mistakes (like i did ...) but being unsure as to how to fix them is one thing. having a good instructor telling you exactly what to do is another and it REALLY does help!
