What is the optimum speed for riding roads and tracks (phases A&C) at a 3DE?

Cheers!

I don't know the answer but...

I do know that at each level the optimum speed is differnt - ie fast for Advanced and a lot slower for Pre-Novice. I think most schedules show the optimum time and speed for each phase (or at least the unaffiliated scheduel i have seen do!)

bye!

Hi Sarah thanks for replying - I was beginning to think no-one would!

The reason I need to know is for a competition in Your Horse to win a place at a 3DE training clinic and free entry to the Eqvalan Unaffiliated 3 day. That's one of the questions, but the entries close on the 30th so I don't think I'll be entering! Never mind…

Anybody else know??

Fiona.
