Like anything they can be beneficial when used correctly.

The thing with the Pessoa (like other 'gadgets') is that you need to be taught how to use them, how to adjust them and how to work the horse correctly when they've got them on ....

they are easy to use after you've figured out how to put them on, also your horse has to be good at lunging or it could be tricky. i wouln't want to use one on a horse who might break free.

they can be beneficial, my chiropractor recommended I use one to help with my mare's muscle wastage

the pessoa is great and works really well, just remember to keep your horse going fwds because if they go backwards they will flip themselves over onto the ground..... but they will only do that once!!!
