Back in the saddle!!

TOMORROW!!!!!

I'm excited, I get to ride again tomorrow, after 8 years!!
I have a whole hours private lesson booked at a riding school, that's an easy bus ride away from here!! (I would have had half an hour, but they wouldn't let me - maybe I should buy shares in the Radox company, lol!)
I don't think i've ever had a private lesson before!! I can't wait!

I hope they don't lunge or lead rein me - Just for the first lesson, I really want to see what I remember and enjoy it.

Went for a ride up there, in the car the other day - to see where the bus stops are and make sure I don't end up in another county cause I couldn't find the stop! the place looks awesome from the outside I can't wait to see properly, tomorrow!

Sorry, I'm just so giddy about it!! i want it to be tomorrow, NOW! lol!!

Good luck - hope its as wonderful as you remember it! I left it 20 years and I can tell you it was EVERY bit as brilliant as I'd remember, in fact, its one of the few things in life that was BETTER than I remembered!!! Their smell, the feel of the horse under you, the smell of the tack, oh, its wonderful. Enjoy enjoy.

How did it go then? Did you enjoy it?

When I returned to riding after 12 years it took me about 10 minutes to realise how much I'd missed it, despite being put on a very very stubborn pony who I could barely get to trot. It then took me about another 10 minutes to realise I actually remembered most of what I had learnt as a kid.

And then another week to walk properly afterwards.........
