Horse behaviour

i posted about the foot and shoeing recongise a well shod horse, long feet, risen clenches and worn shoes. i pretty much know everything else on the Bhs stage 1 meaning i can learn it off by heart for the exam but the horse behaviour i still struggle and i now you have to speak in a group about it to so its even more important that i know this part since i get kind of shy anyway i was wondering if anyone could give me some help on these points they ask you some will kind simple but aren't for me

1. outline the horses lifystyle in the wild
2. decribe the basic instincts - probably is an easy answer
3. describe the dangers shown in horse expression when in the field

any information will be much appriecated thank you

Better than anyone can explain for number one, go out to your library and rent out national geographic videos on wild horses. Better to see the behavior than hear about it.

Natural reactions, world wide, in any situation that does not opress natural reactions: fright, flight, fight.

As for horse expression.. well I have never seen much for facial expression when lips and ears are taken out of the equation.

For BHS exams you will need to refer to the BHS books. I know that some of them have that kind of info in but can't remember which ones as I don't have mine with me.

Although I would advise you to do research further afield for your own use I would stick very firmly to the BHS ideas for your exam as they don't tend to like you going off at a tangent from what they teach!

i've got the bhs workbook but thought i could have some more help if its best to stick to the bhs ideas then i will do thanks for that
