home study

does anyone know where i can get the home study course from? to do horse mangerment ect thanks

i think Equine Studies does home study exams but only training not the actual exam i think my old YO said it was a bad college to go to but i dont no anymore

I did the BHS 1,2, 3 and PTT preparation with Equi-Study several ago, and thought they were very good. They've updated the courses since, I believe, so are probably even better now.

but do you get the cert at the end off the courses if u do the home study???

In the equine studies book it says if you were to do study BHS 1 to 4 then you do a mock exam but you actually have to take the exam elsewhere. (at a centre) For the certificates it says upon completion of a TOCES Certificate or Bhs horse knowledge and care prepartion you will be awarded a graded TOCES. This will be of value to prospective employers as well as you personally, as it reflects commitment to study. Although TOCES certificates do not result in a validated qulaification, the course material is of the same standard as the BHS and BTEC courses. To achieve a qualification you must jopin the BHS and take the exam at one of the centres. I would get a proseptous (sp) it tells you everything you need to know about the college
