Andalusian

Hi everyone

I have just put a deposit down on an Andalusian x Hackney x Welsh gelding! He is 1/2 Andalusian, but has no papers. I assume you have to have papers to be able to enter breed classes?

Thank you

Sophie

Yes you do!
If his sire was registered with BAPSH (British Association for the Purebred Spanish Horse) then you could try and get him registered.

Is he definitely half Andalusian/PRE (there is a big difference!). Do you know where he was bred and his Sire's name, I know a few PRE breeders and breeders of partbreds, but all their stallions are registered.

Thank you for replying. I dont think his owner knows his stallion's name but she may know roughly where he was/is based.

I shall try and find out more and keep you posted!!

Thank you for your help, much appreciated.
