What a day!!
Well I did my first ever dressage test today, the wind was howling and it was absolutely tipping with rain we were late getting there, so i didnt even have time to warm up, I have to say I was terrified but we managed it and my lovely horse did me proud, he didn't put a hoof wrong score was only 54.7% but i'm very happy with that considering.

This weather's getting on everyone's toes, it's really annoying
Well done! For your first ever dressage test, if you were happy and enjoyed it that is the main thing!
Any more planned?

Aah! He is gorgeous, isn't he - and you both look beautifully turned out. He looks as if he's really enjoying the canter too, but I think you're worrying about the next movemnt

thanks for that if you could have been inside my head, you would have felt shear terror I'm surprised they are as good as they are to be honest, the fact I got there in that weather, stayed on and then smile at the end is a miracle bless him

I am also a member of the cold sweat brigade. I also don't think you should be on the mature riders site! Well done both.

thanks everyone for your kind words,
I didn't think I'd be able to go anywhere other than our local place but only today someone has offered to drive my friends lorry to get me places and even one of the girls who's leaving has offered to come and pick me up on her way through so may well look into Wellington
