plans for the future?

well... Im not sure exactly what I would like to do but any suggestions would be appreciated (im 16 turning 17 on 6th sept)

well my main ambition is to showjump (probably amateur/semi-pro),

Im about to do a levels so got 2 years of deciding to do so getting the grades in case things dont work out

but should I have my own business (either fashion designer, interior designer or jewellery designer) and hopefully have flexible hours when Im more experience so can buy my own horses? but this prob take a good few years but will give me time to compete?

is that the best way to provide good money to fund the showjumping(hopefully...lol) or is there any other ways that may help me on the way to high level showjumping? (apart from winning the lottery that just impossible to win )

did I make any sense or just rambled on? lol any suggestions appreciated and thanks for reading this weird post..lol

does anyone have any experience of juggling their own business and showjumping (competitions? etc) is it possible to do this?

The 3 occupations you've named are all highly 'intensive' work if you want to get yourself known and accepted in these careers. For instance what if you became a model and the press wanted you to do a photoshoot on the day you were in a big show jumping competition, which one would you choose? Difficult isn't it?

Running any business is extremely time consuming and potentially stressful - you'd also have to have significant funds to get you started. So if you'd like time to pursue your riding you'd be better looking to work in an established business.

Good luck
