Horse Hunt! Any dealers in NW?

Hiya well me & OH have decided to bite the bullet and BUY our dream horse!

As luck would have it I raced to the phone to call the Dealers which had my old Mare Swagger ( dazey) only to find she had been sold that morning.. I couldnt believe it, I was quite upset..but I know she would of gone to a good home for the price they wanted...and I am just going to have to get over the fact I sold her and she is gone FACT.

So after that first hurdle we have been looking through websites etc and local papers. I have sent a few emails of, Seen a nice ride and drive in Lancs so waiting to hear back..

Basically I wondered if anybody knew any reputable dealers in the Northwest or any Nice ride and drive cobs for sale? I have decided to look for something ready broken, Safe ( for OH to learn on) but with a nice balance of saftey/impulsion so I can have fun on it to!

Mare or gelding dosent bother me. Must be able to hack out alone and in company and be good on roads, alougth they are quiet lanes where hoss will be living. Budget £3500

My OH is the kindest person in the world for getting me the best birthday treat in the world!! Only hope he knows what hes in for hehe!!! He has never really been round horses before the lucky day he met me HAHA!!

anyway I am getting quite excited and daunted at the prospect of actually actively looking rather than keeping my eye open..or waiting till the right moment...and all those other half hearted attempts. I am looking forward to being back in horse ownership..alougth theres 87 at work!! Its not the same not having your own 1-2-1

Well guys wish me luck!! Here goes nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay, horse shopping! Will you look at private sales as well or just dealers?
I will PM you my thoughts on the dealers I know in the North West
