Horses gallore!!!!

Hi Not been on for a while as I have benn here there and everywhere. I have finally got my disk of my lesson with the Portuguese trainer which I have yet to look at. As soon as i do I shall post some clips on.

Anyway i've been of on my travels to portugal for the Golega Horse fair. What can I say? What a fantastic experience. You could not look anywhere and not see a horse. Even my son enjoyed himself and he's not particularly horsey but he really did appreciate all that the Portuguese achieve with them. It is so so different than most of what you see over here. They are far more n tune with their horses than most people here. I was so awe struck. I am putting on a link to a site that some kind person sent me as I lost my video camera whilst away. If you look at the photos around the ring 'img 5468 and 5470'. These photos are of a blind man on his horse that he always rides with no briddle. If you can imagine hundreds of people milling about in the streets and croosing the track of the ring whilst many horses aregoing around, that is what he rode his horse through. He said they are totally in tune with one another and he uses his horse as we would a guide dog. how fab is that. I could go on and on about the wnoderful things I saw but I shall leave you to look at the photos and then tell you more later if anyone is interested.

Hope you enjoy the horses as much as I did.

By the way I did refrain from bringigng anymore back in my hand luggage.

The pictures of the blind rider are good, his horse looks so smiley

They're all gorgeous, makes me even more tempted to grow Jack's mane and try and pass him off as something impressive
