Have you got a Neue Schule Bit?

If you have got one, what sort is it and what do you think of it, also what sort of mouth comformation has your horse/pony got? Looking to purchase one and have been recommended a team up one by Heather from Neule Schule. Wondered if anyone had this particular one. Thanks

Hi I've got the NS filet baucher no.8001. Had it a couple of years now and think its fantastic. The best bit I have used for my Arab. He has a small mouth with a low palatte and this suits him really well. We have been bitless since may so not using it at the moment but at bits go, I was very impressed with the quality and value for money compared to some.

Hope this helps - didnt realise Heather was keen on them too.

All of mine have NS bits.

Peri and Tavia both wear tranz link eggbutt snaffles.
Tavia's double is the same snaffle for the bridoon and has a weymouth that was specially made for her.
Peri wears a low ported weymouth with a cut away for the tongue groove with a verbindend snaffle.

the 2yo filly wears her Mum's verbindend snaffle for in-hand shows - supposed to be for more advanced horses but that is the one she likes - go figure

Those are the bits that have suited them best. Tavia has been a nightmare to fit as she has such a small mouth and a very fat tongue.

Jez used to have the NS training bit for schooling I still have a NS gag with the tranz lozenge and curb strap for XC.

Jez went/goes well in them. I like them as they slimmer bits as he doesn't have a great deal of room and after switching from a french link he seemed more willing to accept the contact straight away.
