Kennel and run for dogs

I'm planning on buying a large kennel and run to put my dogs in while I am at work. I have a dog walker who walks them at lunchtime, but my little menace of a dog can't hold her bladder for more than 3 hours at a time and also can't be trusted to have the run of the house due to her tendency to destroy stuff. She is very destructive. My labrador is good as gold but I'd keep them out together during the day. I know I probably sound really soft but is this a fair thing to do? I'm fed up with puddles on the kitchen floor when I get home from work, plus I think being 'outside' would be nicer for them. TBH the beagle/jack russell should by rights be an outdoor dog anyway - I love her but apart from the fact she is grumpy, nippy, an escapologist and ridiculously hard to house train, she is a really pongy puppy!
 
A kennel and run sounds like a good compromise, provided they won't bark and I annoy your neighbours. As long as they have water and shelter most dogs are happy to be left out.
Saying that we bought a large kennel for our border collie with the intention of leaving him out during the day. Put his favourite blanket in there and he refused to go in unless I went in with him!
It was very embarrassing to be caught in a dog kennel when my next door neighbour popped round

My working collie was kenneled when we had her. But she lives in the house with us. My mum wanted her to be kenneled but I don't like the idea if the dog being out in the cold nights. I use to work for someone who used and old bird aviary as the dog kennel. They put there dog in it when they went out and it was a nice day. They had no neighbours.
Whilst kennels are fine. I personally wouldn't leave them out in the garden whilst at work. There are too many dogs being stolen. Also I don't like the idea if I have close neighbours of them barking.
 
You can't access our garden except through the house so I'm not worried about them being stolen. They'll come in at night - they're with me when I'm at home. They don't tend to bark or whine so hopefully they won't annoy the neighbours!
 
A kennel is a great option, and they will thoroughly enjoy sunbathing in spring/summer/autumn but will you still be happy to use it when it -3 during the day in winter? Years ago I wanted to kennel my jack while I was at work but he wouldn't cope once the temp dropped and I didn't want to start a routine with him that I couldn't continue so he was created in the house while I was out instead.
 
No, I'm really just thinking for the warmer months. You can get heated kennels but they cost a bomb! I've just bought a big second hand kennel and run off eBay which I am pleased about.
