Was planned.......OH has just reminded me we have a car rally (yet again!) on Sunday that will have our lane blocked from 10.30 until the evening.....and Saturday they will all be whizzing around doing a reccy of the course, so still not advisable to be riding the narrow winding lanes. I shall console myself with a huge steak lunch Saturday and hopefully spend the weekend chilling in the shade with my kindle

My new arrivals for you @Trewsers Very sweet and seem in good health although massively overweight! Don't think they've had any attention for a while judging by what the lady said and they are terrified of me. They showed up with the mankiest water bottle I've ever seen and she ironically then handed me a sparkling bottle brush. Safe to say I put it straight to use! For now they have their hutch in the garage and I've put them up in my room in the hope they would have a little run about but they are just cowering in a box.

Will be buying them a run for the garden and slowly introducing them to grass as don't think they've had any of that either. I do find it very sad but I'm sure they meant well.

Anyway sorry for waffling.

Never mind the Guinea pigs, did I read @Ale that you have a ‘date’ tonight? Kept that quiet didn’t you? Hope it goes really well for you

I am at work as usual but still managing to squeeze a lovely early morning hack in.

Piggy update

girls were a little braver today and I even heard them start chatting!

And as for the date, he's a really sweet guy and we got on well! We've arranged to go indoor climbing sometime next week
