changable gullet bars - help!

Might sound like a daft question, but can wintec gullets fit thorowgood saddles? The reason i ask is i bought a throwogood saddle secondhand and it came with two gullets, a red one which is in the saddle, and a blue one. It also came with packaging which i would swear is for a wintec wide gullet!! Seems to fit in the saddle ok so i havent messed around with it. Advice please!

They might fit but you wont be able to see the damage its doing to the tree, I spoke to a lady at thorowgood who thoroughly explained it was a no-go unless you want to wreck your saddle

The new thorowgood saddles are adjustable, they are called "3D".

There are two types of bars for the Thorowgood saddles.

S bars, which are for the Square Cantle saddles. They are a similar size in length as the Wintec.

R bars, which are for the Round Cantle saddles. These longer than the Wintec bars.

I would definately not try to fit a Wintec bar in a Throwogood Saddle.
