How much weight can a fjord carry?

Hello, my 11 year old brother has recently started riding. He rides a fjord horse ( not sure about his height, between 13 and 15 hands) he is wondering if he is to big for the horse, he is 5 foot and weights around 6 or 7 stone. Thank you !

I would imagine the fjord wont even notice him to be honest, I have ridden one, she was only about 14h carried me easily and Im 5'6 and 9.5 stone.

5ft and 7 stone? He could ride an 11hh pony without it breaking a sweat! Most definitely NOT too big for a Fjord!

I'd hope & pray that the fjord is polite & happy to look after him, particularly if it's closer to 15hh, because if it isn't he's not likely to influence it much. Fjords are good solid types, I suspect they'd carry some serious weight without much effort.

I know a Fjord about 15hh who carries a 16 stone rider very happily. I think they're like Highlands that way
