LED breastplates

Has anyone seen them in the flesh? are they bright?

I have LED neck strap thing, I also have LED tail lights, both are brilliant when the weather is pants or it’s dawn/dusk. I used to get lots of comments on how bright they were and how visible I was from drivers too.

My friend Uta lights up her horse Finn like a Christmas tree for hacking in the autumn and winter. She really is visible! Let me know if you'd like me to ask her what she uses.

I already have leg lights etc. Honestly I was just wondering if those would give me enough light to see by when riding in the dark as it won’t be long for me now!

I'd say they will ensure you are seen by others but not enough to see by unless you eat a lot of carrots!

I still use a head torch when riding in the dark but we are rural with no other light sources.

I’d be in the forest, and there’s very little light pollution here. I’m used to hiking in the dark, your eyes adjust to it better than you’d think.

I used to use a head torch on Jess but Monkey is a bit wary of his shadow in the sun so it might be a challenge on him thought perhaps if I switch to red light he’ll be happier.
