On a high - jump lesson!

Ahhhhhhh. Now I understand about half-halting with your core and not with your hands. Wow Flash gets excited when he’s jumping.

I feel like I’ve done 90 minutes of crunches whilst having Jillian Michaels next to me, barking at me “don’t phone it in!”. LOL.

First jump in the lesson was fine but after that he wanted to show me that he can compete with small ponies who are bombing it round a course. So every approach to every jump we did after that was me sitting deep and bracing to hold back a 600kg rocket with my poor abdominal muscles.

He loves his job so very, very much. And I love him for it. Unfortunately for him it’s back to Flatwork this week because I’m doing the dressage on Monday!

I'm on flatwork tomorrow too, just had a dressage test text from my RI . So happy I'm not jumping that always gives me the willies if I know in advance!

Tomorrow I might not be too sore, DOMS gets you on day two. LOL. It was terrific fun though.

I’m doing the mini showjumping at my yard on FRIDAY 13th. What could possibly go wrong.

Sound great fun I never have to worry about hold ginger back more kick like a pony club rider.

To this day I’m not sure what I prefer but I like the idea of being taken to a jump.
