I only managed to get one back foot as he can be a bit wiggly! But his backs look alot better than his fronts which I would expect as he has always been barefoot behind.
She says his backs are lovely. His front fore doesn't look too bad but his off fore is very small. This whole hoof isn't as great as the others so she thinks it will take longer to improve overall. But there was already some improvement in the frog so fingers crossed it will look even better next time.
Loving this post so informative....I have a cob on LWVTB but looks like I will be keeping him...he's currently shod all round but if I keep him I'm considering having back ones taken off. He's just thrown a shoe so my farrier is coming out this week to look at him for the 1st time I'm very interested to see what his opinion will be. I don't think the way his previous farrier has shod him is very good to be honest so will be interesting when my farrier sees him. Will be following your post in the meantime for info
